I'm a huge fan of using video game screenshots.  I love using them, they are sooo much fun to work with! (Not to mention, they look pretty dang good by the end of it).  So, I'm going to give you a tutorial to one of my most favourite icons from Need For Speed: Most Wanted.  This tutorial features a VERY pretty Mustang GT (-drool-) and is slightly simple.  It may be hard to duplicate this effect for for other icons, but hey, that's what playing around is for.  For the record, I used Photoshop Elements 6 and is translatable, I think.

Simple Colouring Tutorial

Being a simplistic child, I'm always looking for the easiest way to do stuff.  I'm also a fan of vibrant colours in graphics, but I'm not a huge fan of playing with levels and stuff.  They make my head spin.  So, to recap, I like colour, but don't like spending a lot of time trying to get it.  Thankfully, I've found a way to make bringing colour out simple and it only takes a few layers! (YAY.) So let's see, I use Adobe Photoshop Elements 6, but I HIGHLY doubt that'll be an issue.  Easy, simple and pretty nice lookin!

Hello and welcome to my LJ!  My name is Tailz and this journal shall be used for whatever shnazzy jazz I get together.  I hope to be able to post some of the graphics that I make OR maybe random stories that come to mind OR just go off on a crazeh crazeh rant.  So, expect a lot of randomness mixed in with a touch of sanity and whatever other coolness I can dig up.  Alright?
